The 7 Best Airbnbs in Paris for a Stylish, Spacious Sojourn in the City of Light (Vogue)
Personally, in most cities, I prefer a hotel. The ability to have someone help you with restaurant bookings, give suggestions, order room service, pop into the lobby bar for a pre or post-dinner cocktail, and access to a proper spa is kind of what travel is all about for me. But, I will concede that a great Airbnb lets you live like a local and experience a city in a very different way. Elise Taylor has compiled a pretty great list of design oriented places in Paris for your consideration.

CLB Architects completes rural Wyoming compound influenced by agricultural buildings (dezeen)
I'm not sure I could describe what my favorite style of architecture would be for a custom home, but I know it when I see it...and CLB Architects seems to have captured it here. Check out this compound in Wyoming at the base of the Tetons, it measures up at a modest 12,800 square feet.

Rum 101: An Enthusiast’s Guide to Understanding the Different Types of Rum (The Manual)
In St. Barth this summer I received a crash course in Rum that I was woefully in need of. As someone who is perpetually visiting many of the World's Top 50 Cocktail Bars, I was pretty ignorant on rums and just what a great spirit it is...and versatile too. A little more than a week at the extremely cozy Villa Marie St. Barth I had the opportunity to sample their expertly curated selection of rums. I wish I had read this article before arriving.
