"TOPLESS at the CARLTON"

Cannes, France

Taken at the Carlton Hôtel in Cannes just a few years ago, this photo captures the history of the legendary hotel perfectly and is a personal favorite. A black and white version of this print hangs in my studio.

The Carlton is legendary as a backdrop for films, a home away from home for celebrities during the Cannes Film Festival, and has been the setting for multiple jewelry heists, the most recent taking place in 2013. The hotel is currently closed for renovations until the spring of 2023. As an automobile & travel lover this scene was like a dream come true to capture. The car is a second-generation Mercedes SL that was in production primarily in the 1960s.
